  • Here's the problem I see with that proposal Mensan. Depending upon how you edit your question...it could render all the answers non-responsive or ridiculous, which really isn't fair to the respondents. You asked a question, they responded to it. Now you're changing the game and where does that leave them? Respectfully submitted by yours truly in the Twilight Zone! :)
  • Hi Mensan: I appreciate your clear logical thinking. I agree with you. Unfortunately no matter how you put it someone will misunderstand it.
  • That is to make sure that you don't delete the question if the power to edit at any time is given to you. The questions you post and all the answers you receive become answerbag's property. No one would want to loose their property, would they?
  • I have wished that when I worded one badly. also I posted one twice as the first didnt appear and I reposted and it popped up an hour later, Duplicates get rempoved but that didnt. It is quite obvious sometimes that has happened to others too.
  • I have to agree with Rosie, Mensam, sorry. But good question:)
  • It would be nice to be able to correct typos we discover later on, but there would be no way to only correct typos and not also be able to change content, etc. It's nice in theory, but would probably be too difficult to put into place.
  • I think that's a wonderful idea. I don't understand why they don't give more time for questions. I've looked back at some of my questions and found misspellings, or where I had actually left out a complete word, and wished I could have gone back to fix it.
