It would just bother me. You never know who could "plant" your DNA somewhere.

I was forced to give my fingerprints when I began working 17 years ago, and it still bothers me. But, as a teacher, I could sort of understand, although a criminal background check would have probably been enough. Why would anyone need my DNA? It's too Orwellian for me, i.e. Big Brother.

They might not entirely trust the agencies in charge of the security of the DNA samples.
