I still stick to my beliefs. As horrible as that crime is, that baby is an innocent victim as well. It does not deserve to die for someone else's crime.
What if she had already given birth? Do you believe it would be acceptable to kill the baby to save her from having any further pain? If not, perhaps you understand why many people would still say no.
Personally I would stick to my beliefs. A childs life is unconditional and I don't think that there is any reason in the world to give up on them.
I would stick to my beliefs and expect my Wife or Daughter to bring up their child as any normal mother would, feed it educate it etc!
I would take her to doctor and they would give the morning after pill and there would be not pregancy

You're reading If you are pro-life, and your wife or daughter was raped, Would your opinion change or do you still follow your beliefs no matter how hard it is on your loved one?

I could never have an abortion but I wonder, what if my wife was raped. I don't know its a tough decision. What if you were?

I would carry to term and raise that child. Both my husband and I agree on this. We could never punish the baby for someone's elses sins. We would do what we could to make the best out of a bad situation.

What if he grew up to look like your rapist? Id have to give it up for adoption.
by DukeG on September 9th, 2009
is that his fault if he did? I understand adoption and fully support it. Perhaps I would adopt out too. I dont know, cant say. Never been in that situation. But I do know that I would NEVER abort.

See I would never have one but, I have a hard time with government making that decision for everyone. I say let them make their own choice and they can explain their cruelty when they meet god.

well, I have a hard time with alot of what the Gov does

Especially lately huh? ROFL Did you always feel that way or did it change as soon as you had kids. My opinions changed on a lot of things after I became a father.

always been pro-life. always. I could never even see rape as a justification for it b/c the child is not guilty of a crime and should not be killed for that. I'm sorry for that happening to the woman, I really am but aborting an innocent child who did not ask to be concieved, who had no say in who its parents would be or how it would be concieved is not right. I have seen the real life pictures online of aborted tiny babies. Its an image that will never leave me. Small, bloodied, dismembered human bodies. Either torn apart by a vacuum or burned to death with saline. It pains me to know that everyday, some woman is out there doing that to her baby, even right now, at this moment. It disgusts me that some doctor is making his/her living by killing those children. My stand has always been that an unborn baby is still a baby, a real, actual human with blood running thru its veins just the same as you and me, with a beating heart and a functioning brain. It is a life.

I honestly didn't care either way until one day on tv I saw a Partial Birth Abortion. Right then I decided I could never do that.
