India got partitioned or pakistan got partitioned?

Its India which got partitioned as Pakistan at that time was part of India. Looking at Pakistan I believe and many do that it was a good decision to part with the muck!

The British Raj got partitioned. The three parts are now called India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. None of those three entities existed before partition, so none of them could have been partitioned.

The former british crown colony of India got partitioned onto West Pakistan, India, East Pakistan, and Burma.

India or for that matter any country which the Britishers occupied by force, deception and other means were not actually British colonies as there were hardly any British population or culture existed before and after they left. It was simply a case of, what you call in modern law, land grabbing. They were plunderers to the core and will always be remembered as one for eternity! Had Britishers not plundered these countires they would have so much better than what they are now! But yes Britishers do deserve praise for one thing and I believe every true Indian should feel obliged to them for annexing Pakistan and Bangladesh from India.
