Question

Help answer this question below.

My '99 Chevy 454 won't start. The plugs show spark at one port and none elsewhere. It has new distributor, plugs, wire, cap, control module, coil pack, battery, and no blown fuses. What could be the problem?

Check you crankshaft position sensor. If the top dead center sensor is the only one working it will only fire on #1 cylinder because the computer will only see this cylinder and will not know were the other cylinders are at. This will also cause a check engine light.
