They actually play the same music as in straight clubs, but the people are what really makes the place kick ass. I am not gay, but my best male friend was, and he would take me to his favorite haunts. The guys were SO nice to me there, always made me feel welcome, and I loved being there.
Never been to one, but I'm going to say the big disco ball with all the lights shining off it
I've never been to a gay bar, but I assume it's similar to the electricity in a straight bar, where you can feel the vibes between men and women. A lot of loud music, colorful lights, flirting, touching, etc. Lol.
Both. I would think
A bit of both... but I am siding with the people. It is the people that make a night, and the nights I have had in gay bars have been amazing, actually made some very good friends.
yes. gay bars definitely have more energy and electricity. its the music, its so different. but the people there are great too and are there to just have fun.
often. I would say the people more then the music, but the music is awesome too.
it makes everyone be themselves so you just have fun and be who you are.
a little of both, but the music definitely. its so different and so full of energy
Always a good combination of both. I grew up going to Gay bars... They rule!
*Except for the things that happen in the mens room.
I've got a friend who does drag shows, so I've been to the local gay club a few times. Most of the gay/trans/etc folks there are really friendly and fun loving, so I have a hunch it has a lot to do with that.
