(All in a pretty small backpack and it weighs only 6 lbs.)

everyone pretty much got everything, but make sure your son goes to a army surplus store and buys himself a good pair of combat boots. trust me you wont get far in the mountains in regular hikeing boots. combat boots are warm and durable
