Not hardly. She was eighteen and I was thirty. Yes, I can imagine what her parents were thinking at the time. Turned out our marriage lasted almost thirty years, and only ended because of her death. Her parents never acknowledged we had a good marriage, and I have never forgiven them for that. Yep, I'm still a tad bitter toward them.
