• All too often it does. The prospect of a woman using such behaviors to get what she wants is even more frightening.
  I'd prefer to see a balance in a relationship, with both partners having their own interests and thoughts AND being supportive and attentive to their partner at appropriate times.

• "using" such behaviors to get what someone wants means they are not a sincere expression of their emotions, and creates a disconnect between the inner dialogue and the outward manner. Thus all such actions and and indicators are false in such a situation. A prostitute for instance might coyly purr at a prospective customer, make eye contact, say nice things, all the while not caring about this guy, wanting to take his money and never see him again.

• I honestly appreciate a woman with intelligence and accomplishments in her own right. If we can mutually and sincerely appreciate each other's interests and abilities, that is a truly wonderful thing. If two people really, honestly, appreciate each other, then expending effort to please the other isn't a chore, it's an honor. That I believe is the foundation of a wonderful and sustainable relationship.

• It doesn't have to be. Too often we let ourselves be fooled into letting movies dictate what's real and what's not. If I were over-sensitive, I might be offended at your response. Do you honestly believe that it's IMPOSSIBLE for one woman to be all those things? Or does she have to have a perfect face and a perfect body before you'd believe it?

• At the end of the day, people cheat, marriages over 20 or 30 years exist only because of comfort zone and familiarity...All of those things are what people want, but we will never have. All of of things are a dream and most of those things, missing a few, is reality. There is no such thing of perfect face and or body, and for those that fall in that "perfect" category, U think that, that woman would even be any of those things? I would be surprised if a pretty woman had any of those things. The better they look the worse they are. So yes I do believe that it is impossible. Not blind anymore and unfortunately, I learned that the hard way. As I got older, I realize the true intentions of a woman when it comes to men regardless of what type of person she is. Some are direct and some are indirect.

• i have no idea why he messed it up. there is no 3rd party involved here, only his career comes more important and his top priority. we had been together for almost 3yrs and he missed up big time. he kept on saying i am better than 100 flight attendants. i have no idea why he did this to me. by the way, i am still in the recovery stage.

The unfortunate rift that occurred between you two in print seems to be repaired now, if only by Hari's acquiescence.
