Not to the giver. I would return it to the store if I Could exchange it for a gift I could use. but I would not return it to who gave it to me, I feel this would insult them, besides its the MEANING or thought BEHIND the gift that matters.

If you know the store where it came from, there is no problem. Stores like Walmart and Sears won't ask any questions. You may trade for something you really need or like and transform that gift into a pleasant and useful one.

returning gift from the giver is rude... juz keep it or make it a gift to another but make sure the one who gave it to you wont notice and find out..
