  • I would quit my current job and start a business doing something that I enjoyed.
  • I would quit my job and live off the money, yes. Careful spending and saving would ensure that it could last me a lifetime. However, the lack of routine wouldn't bother me, as the amount of social gatherings there would be to attend would more than make up for that
  • I wouldn't quit, I would invest my money in something. I would continue working, because that money would eventually disappear to people who need it more than I do. (I would be patient, and very cautious of where my money went, that is why it would take a while.)
  • well,I would make my money work for me,investing etc, eventually making millions upon millions of dollars, becoming a very busy business-man.
  • I would leave my current job and work at something I really want to do. Well-financed leisure is for the very old and very young. Too much leisure otherwise produces things like Paris Hilton.
  • I would quit my job and then spend some time doing and seeing things that I have always wanted to do while I am still young enough. When I finish with that, then I would get into volunteering myself to certain organizations in my community to keep myself active.
  • We never stop working. We are working at life all the time. Being a millionaire might make things a bit easier that's all.
  • I would continue my job in law enforcement.
  • I would still work b.c in 10 yrs money wont b worth as much because of inflation and everything going on in todays society i would work as long as i could and then once you cant begin to use ur savings and millions of dollars. Also if you continue to work it will keep you responsible with your money unlike alotta people who once they win the lottery spend it all and then find themselves in debt in a couple years. So stay in work and do your best b.c if you leave money behind when you pass it will help out your children and possibly grandchildren and great grandchildren dont you want them to b happy also?
  • If I were a millionaire, I could afford to work for free. I would volunteer.
  • I am retired and have enough money. But it is very hard to wake up and know that you have nothing important to do, except go to the golf course, play tennis, go to the beach, read a book, etc. Not working is okay for a year or so, but then it sucks. A job, a volunteer job. Keep working, no matter how much money you have.
  • If I were a millionaire I would buy my way into a Ph.D program somewhere. Once I got finished with my Ph.D., I would go back to my alma mater and tell them, "I am independently wealthy. You don't have to pay me anything. Just give me an office and let teach and do research as I feel like it. I'll even endow a couple of scholarships." (When I was working on my degrees at my alma mater, there was one of the faculty that had a deal like that. He had earned his living in and was retired from the oil industry. If I understood the situation correctly, he was getting paid something like $1 a semester for teaching there.)
  • I have a little saying I tell my kids when they whine to me ‘I’m bored!’: “If you’re bored that must mean you are boring, don’t you have any thoughts in your head?” Yes, I would still work but I could choose what type of work or entrepreneur project I would devote my energies. That is a very liberating feeling!
  • I would open a business and hire people who need a chance (homeless people, single moms, etc). My hubby and I have so many plans if we ever win it big....we'd have an animal shelter and we'd renovate homes for people who can't afford it, send kids to school, donate school supplies and computers....there's so much we'd love to do. (I still do, but on a way smaller scale!)
  • i would not quit my job..i would, however, quit stressing out about money!
  • Most want to win the lottery. I wish I could win it. But did you know that about 80% of lottery winners go bankrupt within 5 years? Thats because most folks that get this instant wealth change their lifestyle, quit their jobs and just blow it. The best way to keep that wealth and be sucessful with it is to keep on the same path that you are already on.
  • I would quit and do volunteer work.....I could pick and choose where and how much time I wanted to give.
  • I would quit. I would never work this kind of job again. I would not have any job that didn't make me feel happy or fulfilled in some way. Most likely I'd volunteer part time for a local animal shelter, or community kitchen, meals on wheels or something. I'd also be thrilled because I wouldn't have to work and could stay home with my (future) children! I'd be busy - so I wouldn't get bored.
  • I would not quit. I have almost 26 years with my current company. If I can last another 6 years, I'll have health coverage for the remainder of my life and a huge pension. I would never get bored. I'm thinking of taking college courses, but I'm too busy with my hobbies. I would also consider opening my own business and volunteering.
  • i would cont working, it may not be full time anymore but i would still work
