Love in a modern since is more of one that means that I could never see my self ever being happy if that person was no longer there to actually be sadder do to the fact that they can no longer be with me. And it is one that takes a lot more trust between the sexual intercourse and intersex relationships. so personally I believe that love is more of a neccessity than ever before.
