well thankfully my mother didnt listen to my father, he wanted me to be named esther anna as it was his mothers name & i was born on her birthday, luckily mum put her foot down on that one, she met him slightly half way, & i got the name ann.

My aunt. My mother was going to name me Marlo (combo of my parent's names) but she didn't think it really would "fit" me. So, my aunt Gloria (who really likes mythology) suggested a couple of Greek and Roman names and showed her what they meant. They ended up going with Aurora Borealis because my mother thought that it was pretty and unique and it meant a couple of things. I like it much more than Marlo (but have nothing against the other Marlo's out there!!).

It was going to be Lindsay, until my mom saw Christie Brinkley's name on the t.v. She like it so my name became Christie. The funny thing is that my dad was going to be named Christopher when he was born, but they changed it to Jonathan. My middle name is after my mom and my great aunt. So I'm Christie Jean.
