  • I believe you can do it if you follow one rule we learnt in highschool math... BIMDAS... It stands for Brackets, Indices, Multiplication, division, addition and subtraction. It also is in the order in which you do each component. Eg... brackets = 1st indices = 2.. etc. etc.. so (7x-4) + (5x-7) = (-28) + (-35) = 63. Remember when adding negative numbers two negatives always equals a positive. Good luck with the rest.
