Its hard to say I just bought a PS3 but i think it over heats way to quickly but if you like new entertainment then you'll buy it for that reason like I did cause I cant wait till Metal Gear 4 and Killzone 2 come out.

no the wii or xbox 360 are much better choices right now, at least wait for the price to go down before buying a ps3

YES. The games I had on Xbox 360 are much better on PS3, you do need a HD TV to realy appreciate it but even without it looks amazing. It has a blue ray player, most of which seperately cost around a grand. the browser works a treat. On-line for free. No batteries needed for the controler.

It's too expensive and really doesn't have anything worth playing right now. I loved the PS2, but really, don't get stuck on the name......the XBOX 360 is the way to go this generation. Sony priced it too high - can't sell enough - and because of that won't get the game support they had in the past. Games make the system.
