Failure would be a great teacher but success puts a veil on the eyes of that person and deludes by not exposing that person to the downside.+

It sure is. I learn a lot more from failing, like when I played tennis for the first year, I lost just about every single game I played, but I got so much better in one year than I would have thought possible. +5
