    Very much so -- I thought they did a very good job of translating the books to the big screen, and I enjoy watching them with my son (we've also read the entire series as bedtime stories)... I also thought the movies did one thing even better than the books did -- putting the stories in context for the audience. It's important to understand that this is all taking place during World War II, and there's a lot of subtle touches to indicate in particular how it's affecting Peter -- he can fight for Narnia's freedom, but he's not quite old enough to join his father and go off to war, and it eats at him...
