If someone is mentally abusive to you constantly...and eventually you become mentally or physically abusive to them...are you then the abuser?

isnt that sort of do two wrongs make a right dont you think? If someone treats you that way the best thing to do is get away, rather than getting even. Relationships like that either need to end or need to work hard on making things work. No type of abuse is acceptable.
