If you were to get stopped or for some, reason ready to be ticketed by an officer of the law for a violation. What would the violation be and would you try to get out of it? If so.... how? What would you do or say?

I take my punishment for whatever,and it would probably be for assault and battery,because I've been arrested for that before.I don't care who knows,or judges me.That is the truth. +5

Probably for speeding or display of speed. I'd just take the ticket. I don't try to get out of them if I did it.

I got stopped for speeding when I was 9 months pregnant as I was commuting (1+hours) to work. When the trooper came up to my car and asked for license and reg I reached over to the glove compartment but couldn't reach/get into it!!! Not even kidding here- I was pregnant with twins:) and it's a wide mini-van! Anyways, I explained, even though he'd seen me stretching, that I'd have to get out and go around and get it and he seemed beyond annoyed and said, "if you MUST!". He asked why I was speeding and I am sure I blushed as I admitted, "I really have to use the restroom." After he came back from writing my ticket and was handing it to me he asked, "oh, and I was supposed to ask, are you a member of the armed forces?" I said, "No, I'm not but my fiance is and he's actually deployed in Iraq right now and is going to miss the birth of his first child." The officer looked at me, shook his head and said, "A simple NO would have sufficed." and started to explain how I had to send in my ticket payment.

Well the violation would be either speeding or DWB. Would I try to get out of it? Maybe, I guess I can show a little ass or something.

I got ticketed for passing in a no passing zone. Typical oregon driver who sped up when you can pass, slows down when you can't. I paid the fine. After all, I did the crime.
