Which do you prefer, watching a movie based from a book, or reading the book that inspired the movie?

I prefer to always read a book first - if it's made into a movie, then I sometimes go see the movie [ If I see a movie, it must really strike me to then inspire me to read the book ] +5

I prefer to read the book first. That way I can form my own images and not be bound by what the movie has instilled in my memory.

This is the same thing. If you meant book then movie vs movie then book, book then movie. The opposite is always really weak.
