What does HE like? Wine & chocolate? Or would he think it would be more fun to have a selection of foreign beers or unusual ales, with some Slim Jims or pepperoni snacks? Some unusual cheeses with fancy crackers? What kind of books or magazines does he like? I don't want to stereotype him, but would he like a paperback book or two about a favorite sports hero, or actor, or history?

Your favorite colonge or musk that smells good on him, deorderants. A couple of nookie cookie cards with some suggestive ideas for a romantic night alone with him. Maybe some lil tea light candles, chocolate syrup or different flavored glazes in lil cleaned out baby food jars with homemade lables like "love licks" A pack of playing cards to play strip poker, & ask him his favorite things he likes to do when your intimate & then make lil pieces of paper with suggestions on them. I done this for my hubby & every chance we get alone we play our lil game. Its cheap but lots of fun & brings a new twist to the old game of strip poker. The way you play is who ever loses their clothes first has to do what ever is on the paper they draw out. We usually make about 20 that we write down our fav things we like to do or like for our partners to do to us. Then i would give him my lil lists & he would give me his things he likes for me to do to him. If he losses he would pick from his pile of folded up papers that might say kiss & rub your partner for 3 minutes ect.. Its more fun to play it on the bed with a clock, but usually you forget to check the time if your having fun. Maybe buy him a lil book from spencers or an adult store that has 200 fun posistions or something in it. Maybe some bubble bath, some finger paint soaps ya know because he's been a dirty boy, lol. If a bottle of wine is to be included, be sure to buy a bottle of wine from southern Italy. its more potent and the taste is fantastic. the best. Include a small block of cheese, that does not have to be refrigerated and fancy crackers. Also include small items that he would enjoy. And, concealed down in the bottom of the basket, for dessert........a condom. After all, it is his birthday.

I like baskets that aren't all about food. I like picking their hobby or interests and making baskets around that, like sports, fishing, gardening, TV show theme, car or bike theme. You can even find foods or snacks that go with those.
