  • Men simply haven't demanded equal rights yet. It's all part of the dress ceiling that men find themselves up against.
  • Because they look cute in our clothes and we look ridiculous in theirs.
  • It is acceptable to me for guys to wear a dress if they want to, the Scots have their kilt and if you have seen a sexy guy in a kilt, Mmmmmmm.
  • I think it depends on what you consider men and women's clothing. It isn't really seen as largely socially acceptable for a woman to dress herself all in male clothing. Yes. We are now allowed to wear pants, but generally speaking it isn't widely accepted for a woman to wear men's pants. A woman who dresses in men's shirts and pants, etc, all the time is commented on. I know a few guys who wear women's pants without an issue, since it is often impossible to even tell. Some where certain styles of women's shirts, no issue. I think when it comes to wearing things like frilly skirts and dresses, etc, it is a matter of how do you want to be treated? There is a certain expectation of being feminine while in skirts and dresses that is even expected of a woman, so if a man is dressing like that it is simply expected that he would be acting like a woman. Plus.... men just aren't built to look good in women's clothing for the most part... I've seen very few men who can pull off the look successfully.
  • I guess it is now a days...i always see boys walking around with girl pants on
  • It's because women like their clothes, having men wear them sort of invades on their fashion. I think that's the clincher here. Most of the stuff that men wear don't stand out or seem eye-catching so nobody minds anybody wearing them , but it's a whole different world for women.
  • Women in men's clothes take on the power of the man, which is positive. A man in women's clothing would take on the feminine weaker-sex persona, which isn't esteemed.
