I'm a writer. I have a passion for poetry. yet no matter where i post my works, wether it be websites, newspapers or other places, I don't seem to recieve in feedback. any ideas why or what i can do?

Im a writer also, I years ago had some work posted with help from teachers... I am curently working on a novel, and I am not sure the best way to try to publish it.

Good feedback is the icing on the cake. For those who have a passion for writing it is not necessary, but rather "nice to have." A check from a publisher is even nicer. I have my first one hanging in my bedroom (never cashed it). My advice... just keep at it and do it for the self-satisfaction, that way if any feedback does come your way it's a happy bonus. Hope this helps.
