when the timeframe extends past a week only as long as they believe they have to (this may be due to physical restraints like one partner is deployed or out of town for some reason, or religious restraints like waiting till marriage)... any longer and they are denying themselves essential relationship strengthening affection.

So long as it's not purely physical and its mutual, I see no harm in multiple times a day. It is up to two individuals, not just one. I also admire platonic relationships (the previous statement still holds, men and women who wait are wonderful).

sorry wouldn't post as a comment!!thats good that you want to wait for marriage, it's the proper thing to do, only reason i never waited was because i have never been a fan of marriage so i'd have died a virgin and would never have had my gorgeous kids lol :-) Thats the thing though, although it appeared she had an incredibly low labido, that cannot have been so as she actually instigated sex after arguements with you and those usually with a very low labido rarely get horny and a hot cup of cocoa is all they need to be happy. I think your ex either used sex as a weapon (many women do) or to punish you in some way. ahhh now sometimes women like to 'win' their partners affections if they are playing hard to get, but seriously when my libido was low if my partner left me alone i'd just want to sleep, i was depressed and thats a true low libido, no interest. good thing she's your past now, i just feel sorry for the next poor guy, she seriously has issues.
