  • I was on an airplane coming back from Vegas one time and we were a few feet from landing when all the sudden the plane spike (what felt like) straight up in the air. After circling the airport for a while, with a bunch of us still having coronaries, the pilot finallly told us a small aircraft accidentally taxied onto his landing space! That could have been a disaster!
  • I have jumped out of Planes, Flown over small mountains in MicroLites, White Watered on Rivers, I like extreme sports. I find sitting beside a bad driver a lot more scary that other rides. I just remembered I think the scariest ride was on a Bicycle going down a Steep Hill toward a wall and I found out the cycle had no brakes. Sounds simple but that scared me and I was pretty badly scraped about.
  • When I was on the way from Denmark to Malta via Heathrow, the IRA decided to lob some rockets at terminal 3, where we were meant to land. Our plane was still on its way there when it happened, but those were "interesting times", as they're called.
  • I too have jumped out of planes, para-sailed, wind-surfed, raced cars, etc. Scariest ever for me was an amusement park ride called the roundup. It was in itself a good ride. You stood up against a wall in a platter shaped thing, it spun around super fast, the floor dropped out, and it tilted. Problem was on this particular day it had a mechanical malfunction and the entire thing started "shaking" when it was going full blast so it scared the CRAP out of us veteran riders that knew something was wrong. Fortunately no one was hurt, but a few more than usual got "sick", which is pretty gross on this ride because by the force of movement it would get carried along the side, if you follow.
  • The first time that I flown I was so scared! Had all these crazy thoughts running through my head and none wers positive.
  • When I was a kid, a friend of ours had a small plane that we used to go up in. He used to do barrel rolls with it! OMG! I loved it then, now --- no thanks!
  • 1.Went in a haunted house where the floor could drop out from under you. 2.Also went on a very old rollercoaster that had the old rails and sharp corners and cheap side rails only at the edge. At the bottom of the rollercoaster was a rollercoaster that was smashed up from where it fell. 3. Went on a water slide in Japan that was so high and steep that you would see light weight people propel for about 10 feet (lengthwise)off the surface. Not to mention you got quite a surprise enema by the end. You would see everyone run for the bathrooms as they got off.
