I don't know why I got a -3, I just wantto know if some of the fundementals such as give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach him to fish yadda yadda yadda go hand and hand with the republican philosophy... Among other saying/teachings

Probably. I don't think there's a direct connection between the vatican and the republican party, but from my republican-free watching post in Kawasaki, japan, I've observed that most republivans are, in fact, Christian.

Yep, but keep in mind I'm a christian and I'm a Democrat, and most people call me a liberal. But yes there's some links I believe, however sometimes I feel rather than upholding Christian beliefs there using them for there own political agenda. (Just an opinion!)
