There's a lot of glamor behind the idea of coming back to life. Seeing your loved ones and communicating with them one last time through such a ridiculously advanced technology- I would kill for such an opportunity to see relatives. Celebrities must be the only ones daring to try with all of their wealth. Also, the media is more inclined to publish the "interesting stories". You could read "Partner" by Miho Obana. The plot is really gripping and the moral is universal. It's a really cool idea to bring back life, defeating yet again an impossible feat.
