  • That would help if the AB Staff does do that. But I have Firefox, which checks my spelling anyways so I am ok :)
  • If you use Mozilla Firefox instead of Explorer it does it for you.
  • Hope not for the sake of entertainment!
  • that would help. i have the worst spelling ever.
  • Download Explorer 6.0 spell checker. It works great! And it is free.
  • I would love that. But I find the real problem is when I accidentally type a word that changes what it was I said. Like when I say "would" instead of "wouldn't." That's always been a problem for me.
  • Dude, you already have it. Just look up above where you see the abc check mark and click it on.
  • Im not sure but I can tell you that I use Mozilla Firefox for my browser and it has a built in spell check that automatically comes on when I am using AB.
  • That has been asked many times. I wish they would. Of course, it doesn't mean people would use it. U r asking ppl to choose not 2 type like this :) Ughhhh.
  • Mozilla Firefox for the win. Integral spell checker add-on.
  • excellent suggestion!!! after i spell AB, the quality of my spelling goes downhill rapiditagatiously!
  • No. It would take a few of the laughs away. Some of the uses of the English language on here are quite funny. Have you noticed the way youngsters use the word "of" in place of "have". I dont like text talk though,it ruins the language completely
  • If you use Mozilla Firefox the spell checker comes built in. Very annoying it is too because being an American Checker it is constantly telling me my spelling is incorrect.
  • Probably not as most people who really care about Spellcheck just switch over to using Firefox and make out just fine.
  • I use the spell checker button on my Google toolbar. :)
  • I don't know, but if you use Firefox, it has a built in spellchecker. Which gets annoying when you use the British spellings of things. (favourite, colour, etc.)
  • I don't think it would really be necessary at this point, even though most forums do have a spell checker. But I'm using Internet Explorer right now, and it has the ability to spell check things that I type, as do other internet browsers.
  • that's funny. if you have been on YA lately you will know that they have a spell check button right on top where you type your answers and NOBODY ever uses it. Now they have got little bubbles that pop up and tell you "you have misspelled a word".. (really a pain in the ass) and nobody changes anything so..nobody would use it. Besides everytime you used a internet term like LOL or LMAO it would tell you it was misspelled. so you would spend 10 minutes clicking "ignore" to bypass those. and some words could be wrong and it not pick it up. i am always mistaking their for there, etc and they are both spelled right and so..it wouldn't pick them up.. GREAT IDEA though.. however, how would you make people use it. They have online dictionaries nobody uses. Nice idea
  • Hear that AB? Many of us would appreciate that little addition.
  • Firefox with a Google toolbar does this for me, try it.
  • I have an apple and it works for me. Is that just because it's an apple and every one on here is not a dumb as a thought.
