It should be legalized for consumption period. Your dealing with a victimless crime. We are steadily building new prisons and spending billions of tax dollars a year to house people for using, selling and growing something that grows naturally in all fifty states in the US and pretty much all over the world instead of taxing and profiting off of it.

Yes. I think alchohol should be illegal and pot should be legal. Tobacco can get gone too.

put a sliding tax on it and grow it on prison farms, and use the tax money to cover health care ins. require a degree of earned income to get more than a a small amount of low end pot at one time. say $6.00 a gram for good pot and $12.00 a gram for great pot. beyond the cost of production and say $4.00 bucks a gram to the retailer. that nets the state $335.00 an ounce and that adds up to a billion a year per million of population. and ends the gray / black market. And ends its bad press as a "Gate way drug"
