Would you be willing to try illicitly brewed or home distilled liquor if it is of good quality and is a lot cheaper than the branded ones?

i tried some moonshine a dude made in his basement. it had a weird aftertase but man was it strong

No I would not try it because the distilled liquor is full of toxins and very harmful to the human body especially the brain. The first distillation should not be used and is only suitable for industrial use.Only the second and third distilations are used by licenced commercial spirit manufacturers.Moonshine manufactures use all three mixed together so their product is very harmful.

actually this is what most Hungarians do in small towns and villages, they made their own liquor called Palinka (schnapps) and also wine. Hungarians made lots of distilled liquors from apples, peaches, plums, cherries, pears, apricots, etc. most of them also have grapevine although not acres and acres so they made their own wine too. I tried either homemade Palinka and/or wine, pretty good, pretty strong. but of course, the ones made in huge factories have flavors and extra sweetness unlike homemade ones.

I tried moonshine and I could only take a taste. It burned all the way down and I could still feel it an hour later. +5

In our country you can make beer or wine for your own consumption.... you just cannot make it for the purpose of selling it to anyone. Jim's son made his own beer for awhile as a hobby a few years ago.

Yes, as long as the liquor in question was some type of rum, gin, schnapps, or whiskey.

Tried the "moonshine". A few, actually, is it any different than making your own wine with a kit? I tried one made with pumpkins(of all things), and I think I probably would've preferred it to vodka for cocktails. But it would have to be from a trusted source and legal for me to want to consume it.

grandaddy had his own moonshine i prefer home brewed any day of the week +5

I smelled like sewer water and tasted like I think sewer water tastes. That was my first and last sip. never again.
