It could! oops! The cycle is the same for all breeds. 1. Pro-estrus (swelling of the vulva, clear discharge that turns bloody) 8 to 13 days. 2. Estrus (normally bleeding has stopped. Vulva less turgid, but still swollen. NOW is when the bitch is receptive to breeding most likely and to conception) 4 to 7 days. 3.Metestrus (when puppies are growing, if successfully bred. Also time with false pregnancy can happen) 6 to 10 weeks. 4. Anestrus (quiet period of variable duration when there is no activity in the bitch's reproductive tract) 15 weeks. Since she can be impregnanted for 4 to 7 DAYS it is possible that she may be receptive to the other dog's sperm as well. It is not uncommon for a bitch to be bred by more than one dog if the opportunity is there. This was the case with my Best Therapy dog ever, Bossco. His Mom had a fenced in yard and her owners ASSUMED it was high enough to keep her safe. They left her out and went to work. When they returned home there were two male dogs in the yard with her...Both purebred dogs, a GSD and a Golden Retriever. Babe looked like a too tall lab, a bit too narrow and tall to be a purebred. She had NINE puppies...2 looked like perfect little GSD's and 2 looked like Golden Retrievers. The rest were black dogs with assorted lengths of hair, some short like Babe, some long like the Golden. Bossco grew up to be 36 inches at the shoulder, 110 pounds and looked like a black Golden Retriever or a Flat Coated Retriever, only a bit too big and wide in the shoulder.... His sister, kept by a friend of mine and sister to the owner of Babe, Pooka...was much smaller maybe 20 inches at the shoulder, about 45 to 50 pounds and with short/ lab like hair. So it goes! You CAN consult with your Vet, and consider aborting the puppies, if she took with either dog...if you don't want to waste time with what may not be the breeding you actually want to have. The owner of the Dog, might be willing to give you a free shot, or not, since it assuredly is not THEIR fault that she was not kept safe from additional attention by another dog...you can but ask.

Yup, OOps. It all depends on how many eggs she has and when she released them. You could in theory have a mix of both.

It is possibe to have a little of pups that are tatally mixed, meaning that some pups have one "father" and one pup have another, and others are totally mixed. See link: http://www.dogster.com/answers/question/can_a_dog_get_pregnant_by_more_than_one_dog_at_a_time-1340
