  • 1. The charges would likely be a lot more. It's likely this was armed robbery, and this probably makes you an accomplice after the fact. 2. During bank robberies, dye or other markers are often placed on the bills so that they are traceable. Often serial numbers have been recorded. Sorry, I wouldn't want to go to prison. Now if there were a way to keep about $100K that the burglar must have "misplaced" somewhere else, if the money were not marked, and still be a hero for turning in $900K, that might be tempting ... lol

  • I take it, you were left behind a few times in kindergarten?
  • How on earth would I know that the duffel bag has one million dollars in it?
  • Not unless the bag contains a million dollars' worth in gems and/or gold bars. The risk of getting caught with dollar bills which can be easily traced is just too high, even for a totally desperate guy like me.
