  • I would settle for every thirty minutes. we have the track, the station, and a train that runs every four hours and doesnt stop. . BTW: check out: http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/7528867
  • Yes, I use Public Transportation. Gas is expensive and I dislike driving. I keep myself in good shape and I can walk to a Bus. If more people walked there would be less pollution. People would be healthier because even walking a short distance is good for your health. The down side is Public Transportation is getting worse not better. The wait is much longer than ten minutes. My neighbor's are so lazy they can't walk a block and they have four gas guzzling Cars.
  • Certainly, if it could get me directly to my job in fifteen minutes, and cost me less than I pay for gas. None can do that, so, I drive.
  • Yes. I'd use it if it were a bigger gap too. I use it anyway. I don't have a car. It's either that or walking.
  • Public transportation is practical only for transporting your person; not for transporting a lot of tools, baggage, groceries, etc. Also, even if a train runs every 10 minutes that does not mean the train goes where you want to go. Universal public transportation works best in densely populated areas that are self-sufficient for most people's needs, where the transit is fast and networked to facilitate cross-connections to different destinations. Think NYC. Many people there seldom leave the city and have never owned cars. The cost of building a flexible subway system that would reach a majority of people in spread-out growing cities is prohibitive. Also, people who live in such places often need to keep a car for work obligations that involve travel out of town.
  • In SI. New York the fair is $2:50 and the wait is 20 to 30 minutes. No Bus goes exactly where you are going. You have to walk also. In Manhattan it is a little better. I walk because it is healthy and gas is expensive. In France and other European cities people walk and they have healthier life styles. If Americans would walk when possible they would live longer ; and there would be less Diabetics and Heart Conditions. I am sorry if people do not like this but this is factual.
  • sounds convenient +5
  • No. i could not stop for coffee and doughnuts at Dunkin Doughnuts.
  • It's not a very good transportation system if there isn't one at least that often.
  • That would depend on where the bus or train was going
