We stay at motel 6 because the brand is cheap and convenient. Go figure.
I don't have any motel allegiances.
;-)
Speaking as only one person, if the place has a bed and it does not stink it is good enough. A TV is an extra. If I travel for work then I need fast Internet for reporting purposes. I am generally ok with any $50 per night selection.
However, when I have partners on the job, other people seem to all have their different finickyness about such things.
I stay places based on prices and also convience to my reason for being there. +5
