I really didn't want to go to my prom. I thought it was too corny but my best friend talked me into it. i went with a male friend. after the prom we drove to the beach at 5 am which is the standard thing to do here. I made my own dress and still have it. Is has a white bodice with red silk covered w/ red lace for the bottom part. the friend I went with has killed in an accident years later. But I am glad now I did go to my prom.
