  • tell them both that you are not going to choose between the two and that if they have problums to take it "outside".
  • They shouldn't be playing a "tug-o-war" game with YOU in the middle. I have found, tho, that sometimes they all get used to each other eventually. See if that could possibly happen, if not, either leave it to them to figure out, or start moving in differnt circles of friends.
