Not as common but it happens. My dress was a green Celtic Renaissance dress. Not traditional at all. Kinda like me!

Given than most women place no value on their virginity any more, i would say it is probably very common. I used to work at a marriage hall, and i saw plenty of women without white wedding dresses; first thing that comes to mind; whore. But thats if your talking about what a white dress used to stmbolize. A lot of women could just not care about the color.

I would say very common .... lots of brides are choosing ivory or even pale pink gowns .. I think they're lovely.

Damn, keithold! My "Borgeoisie Bride" subscription elapsed! ;-)

I have only seen one bride not wear white so I would say that it's not too common.

More common that most people thing.

More common, and it also seems that many who wear white or ivory, add some color to the dress. +4

Quite common for second weddings.

My mother wore a VERY non-traditional one I believe. I wish I had a picture of the one I believe she wore. I recall a picture from my childhood of her looking like a very thin, yet shapely Marilyn Monroe in a satiny royal blue strapless dress that no doubt inspired my ol' man to produce my siblings and me. She'd prolly kill me for posting this, but the lady looked damn classy in it.
