Help answer this question below.
I consider a high IQ a fairly meaningless measure of ability since it doesn't measure creativity, visual acuity, musical ability, athleticism, motivation, inter-personal skills, management skills, spatial ability, or so many other important skills.
And I fall mostly on ski slopes.
No one ever told me what my IQ was. When I was in jr. high, a kid took a peek at my IQ record on the teacher's desk and told me it was 85. At the high school, I had to take the test twice, because my guidance counsellor couldn't believe the result, must be awfully low. But I graduated from high school, receiving 5 yr math award, physics award, chemistry award, 2 yr German award and RPI Engineering award. I graduated from college and worked as an elecronic engineer for 34 years before retiring. One of my sons is a senior software engineer for a major aerospace company and the other is a plastic surgeon. Life has been good to me.
i would think about 150+ when tested for dyslexia i was told my iQ showed 140 but my real IQ was probably higher.
I would say 130. I am 150.

My tests average around 150. Which is considered rather high.
Then again, It's just one variable of o so many (including physical treats), which together create our talent.
I think in life it's about discovering your talent. Seeing it wasted is one of the saddest things.
To me it's just a silly number, like my shoesize.
I think I am a bit above 100 (I think it was 120 last time I checked).....I think I'm about average
Over 150.
.
Somewhere around 140 or so.
As a member of Mensa, I consider 138 to be the beginning edge of genius and therefore a high IQ ... my IQ has been Mensa tested to around 148, which is well above the average person, but actually low for a Mensan ...
100-125 is okay.... Erm... I'm somewhere in 185-200 depending on who you ask...
I hide my intelligence (or try) though... I don't want others feeling less intelligent, or calling me "geek," "nerd," "dork." et cetera... I don't want them accusing me of showing off my intelligence either...
Hope this helps... :D
don't know, but I'm average! +5
My IQ is high enough that I realize that "high" IQ's really don't mean much.
Average is 100. I'm higher than that.
High IQ's mean so very little..but that aside, a really high IQ to me is in the 160's...and last time I checked I was in the 140's someplace....147 or 149 or something.
Whatever, this means nothing - I'm just good with tests and I always have been...standardized layout & scoring in most tests has a pattern which is easy enough to recognize once you know the methodology.
Anyway I guess I'm "average" enough - I'm certainly no Einstein - I suck at mathematics and find it boring.
140, because it's a bit higher than my test results.
above 115. mine is gifted
