I want to clean the inside of our washing machine whats the wasiest/best way to do this?

Other than wiping it down what needs to be done? It washes itself everytime you do a load of wash. :)

Use heavily concentrated cleaner like simple green full strength, and a non scratch dobie pad or 3M green scrubber.
