I'm not usually a fan of personalised number plates, but I thought it was pretty good seeing the ambient dance band The Orb driving down the M1 once in a Renault Espace with registration ORB 100 in the 1990s. I was on my way to see them at Glastonbury. They were awesome!

I saw one once as follows: LQQK With the Qs, it looked like eyes glancing down and to the right. In the past, I had a car with BANANA as the license plate.

I saw a picture once in an issue of AutoWeek with a Ferrari. The licensce plate was...RCH PHKR But the story gets better...apparently the owner of that Ferrari went through a divorce and didn't come out of it so well, financially speaking. So, for his next car, he got a new licensce plate: POR PHKR [Old School grins]

I once knew a couple. They had plates that complimented each other. His said: "Tab A" Hers said: "Slot B" I thought it was clever.

on a brand new car, i forget what it was but it was brand new. the license plate read, dumbluck. i though that was hella funny since it was a new car and such
