Day before yesterday when I was being driven through a heavy thunderstorm on I35 in Austin. The driver was in too much of a hurry and kept crowding people in front of him. I am never comfortable when someone else drives anyway.

A couple of weeks ago, there was a very strange gas smell all over the city. It was like the smell of the gas that comes from your stove, but stronger. Got an immedite headache. Homeland Security upped the level to red. But authorities couldn't pin point where it came from and they finally pinned it on New Jersey. It was scary because you didn't know if it was terrorists again.

Two summers ago hiking in Canadian rockies. we got halfway up the hike to a spot where it was a flat rock face to climb and we had no gear. between the altitude and fear i began to have an astma attack and was starting to lose my grip on the only holds i could see. luckily my hiking partner was able to reach my hand and pull me to safety. i dont remember much after that but he says i sat down had full fledged astma attack where he administered my puffer repeatedly for me and i was incoherant. lasted about 20min before i started returning to normal, also says i may have blacked out. looked up that hike later that night and a week before two people our age had died at that same spot, they were closing off that hiking route!
