I paid for those things and I take those things (except coffee and towels). I do take all the soap and shampoo there is.

Nope. Although I do take something that I consider extra cool! For example, last weekend I stayed in a hotel owned by a beer brewery (the family had owned it for over 1000 years!) and "borrowed" a cool pen and a seriously cool bottle opener.

Soap. shampoo, etc.. The things I'm expected to use up. Otherwise, I leave the room as it is.

Except for the towels and wash cloths...yes. They were intended for me and I payed for them.....

i would only take the stuff if was extra special or interesting to me. also i might take something to give as a present if it is suitable.

I just use what I need. I'm too damn proud to take stuff I can afford easily at home. If I open a package of soap, it's different cause they cannot use it for the next guest...

No, I use my own shampoo and soap when I check into a motel. They have harsh soaps for my skin. I don't take the packages of coffee, because I make the coffee there and drink it. Towels? I consider that stealing and I don't steal.

I take the soap, shampoo and little packages of coffee. I leave the towels. +5

I usually bring my own soap and shampoo The cheap stuff they have does not do me any good so I leave it behind. I do not take the towels or wash cloths because well they belong to the hotel. They usually have a bowl of books of matches with their logo on them and they are free to take. I take one although I never use them it is like a memento of my stay. I always leave a five dollar tip for the cleanup person when I leave.
