Some hotels have price list in the rooms on how much they will charge you if they are missing towels yet they give you as many as you ask for. Anyone else noticed that? Has anyone actually seen the maids count the # when they clean up?

I have never watched the maids clean a room. But, I bet the front office knows how many you had and how many they got back.

I doubt that they pay over $1 a towel. Since they are used many times the value is almost nothing. Unless all are missing when you leave I doubt they will do anything.

Maids in most hotels arent allowed to clean the room if you are in it.
