Many years ago I was a professional musician, but that's old history. There's no audience anymore, the only person I have to please when playing is myself. I think that's a wonderful reason to play.

I was a keyboard player in the late 70's - early 80's. After a while, I decided there were easier ways to make a living and left that behind. But I still enjoy sitting down and just playing, and I think the purity of that helps to clear the mind... if I like it, that's what matters. All other considerations disappear.
