They make me anxious and I get away from them.

Depends on the rant. Sometimes, they have an excellent point that isn't being heard. Other times, what they really need is a willing ear, but just don't realize it. Most of the time, the issue can be resolved simply by acknowledging it. +5

im usually the one ranting! i wish more people would rant because it would fuel my fire. i love a passionate, emotional argument about something that matters to me. but, i cant stand people who rant about meaningless things.

There's a few around here that do. I try not to pay too much attention to them. :)

When they start to drive me crazy I block them. Then they stop ranting and peace returns and everyone is happy (as far as I can tell).
