(e). And I can prove it. sodium + water -> sodium hydroxide + hydrogen (not water). Atomic mass of sodium: 23.0g/mol Moles in 2.0g sodium = 2.0/23.0 = 0.0870mol Moles of water = same number = 0.0870mol Atomic mass of water: 18.0g/mol grams of water 18*0.0870 = 1.57g Hence (e). Ok, I'm guessing 2.o is wrong. It looks wrong. If it were (b) the amount of sodium would be 2.3g What's more, it would make the numbers really easy: 2.3/23 * 18 = 1.8 I hope this will help you answer these questions in future.

This sounds like a homework question. Whilst I would be happy to help, I think its important that you talk to your tutor/teacher and explain that you are having difficulties. Im sure he/she will be pleased to help you in your understanding.
