Definitely black and white. They're so much more dramatic. Not to mention flattering :)
-
I love black and white. It takes a real artist to do good b & w.
-

Depends on what the picture is of.
-
Usually black and white. Feels as if it has more soul, if that makes sense
-
My preference is black and white; I think it gives a clearer representation of the subject, is inarguably more flattering to people, and above all, it's easy to develop yourself.
-
Black And White. Modern colour photography always looks so cheap and plastic to me, it doesn't seem to have as much Reality to it as black and white.
-
Colour, obviously, black and white is just fake, not real
-
I like Black and White but I really like Sephia
-
prefer black and white----seems to bring the focus more on the main image and take in its beauty
-

-
it depends on what the subject is. color for vacations and family stuff.
-
I have np preference - it's the image that counts. The colour or lack of can add to it, yes, but without the image to begin with...
-
Colour, it makes everything look so full of life. I like black and white too, it makes everything look so classy and sophisticated.
-
I like black and white photography more because it looks mysterious.
-
It really depends on the situation. Sometimes BW is very appropriate but for general snaps I would use colour. I suppose in this age of digital photography I would do it all in colour and then use Photoshop to grayscale them if needed :)
-
Color, because....it's color.
-
I like color. B&W is dramatic but I like to see the colors - ya know?
-
Color. I find black and white to be highly pretentious in most cases. especially by amateur photographers, or rather, amateur camera owners.
-
Black and white looks amazing when used for certain landscape shots, like beaches or very barren landscapes. Colour is good in all situations though so I normally use colour.
-
color,it has more character. enjoy this pic i took recently.
-
I prefer B&W on land because I usually use natural light on the surface and B&W gives me more flexibility on shading, but I shot most of my Photographs underwater and really need the color to get the effects I’m looking for. Mostly I shoot macro (close up of really small stuff) I am able to use my lights to achieve different shading schemes that are more difficult with natural lighting and color film on land.
-
It depends on the pose. Sometimes you get a better mood with B&W vs. Color. I enjoy using Sepia tone, as well as taking away the color except for one or two to make the items 'pop'
-
They both have their places. A great B&W might not be a great color and vice versa.
-
It depends.... When I think an image speaks better with no color, I prefer b&w. Else, I also like brilliant and saturated colors... Ronnie
