I certainly hope the great religions realize that Earth has finite resources and is already in threat because of overpopulation and pollution. The most idiotic thing possible would be a population war between the two largest religions. They both worship the God of Abraham, for God's sake. But Islam seems full of such intolerance it may well implode as Shiia and Sunnis kill one another.
