The best and only good option is to divorce or permanently end the relationship. However, men typically accept the abuse long term since people feel that they deserve it. The worst option is to get the police involved. Men usually are the ones who get arrested when they're the victim. Never, ever call the police.

You have to leave. You have no one to beleive you in todays society. If they do beleive you it will be very few and the odds of those people haveing political power are quite low.
