Do you think part of the problem is we live in a very judgmental Society? I have an Autistic young Adult son and friends who are high functioning Autistic/Aspergers they are very intelligent. Do they have the right to be unique? To be imperfect?

Well, people with AS have contributed a lot to society, mainly in the fields of science. But even if they contributed nothing, everybody has the right to be what they are.

As for your son and his friends, isn't it obvious that they have a right to be unique and/or imperfect? Is somebody questioning that? What exactly did this person say?

yeah, i'm not sure what problem you are referring to...honestly, i think society is too tolerant of garbage and it drags us all down. As far as your other questions...everyone is unique and imperfect, not just your son and his friends.

In general people think everyone has to behavior like them. My neighbors have made comments because despite the my Son speaks he makes unsual vocalizations. They have no compassion. Yesterday my friend was degraded at Walmart for wearing Headphones and looking different. I know I look like Society considers normal but I judge Humans by their actions;and not Race,Reglion or appearance. I went College but that does not mean I know everything. We all have something to contribute.
